When you bring us into your life and home, there will never be a corner left unloved. We believe the small, hardworking spaces you move through every day deserve just as much care as the larger spaces where you linger and gather.
This project was a complete architectural and interior transformation for our super fun clients, Jesse and Brittany. We reconfigured the entire first floor and reinforced basement footings and posts to support new structural beams.
Before, the kitchen was 1/3 its current size, and two people could barely cook a simple meal together. Now, there’s an uninterrupted flow connecting kitchen, family room, living room, entry, laundry-mudroom, powder room, perfect for big gatherings.
We could’ve accomplished this with just a change in floor level: a couple of steps connecting one room to another. Instead, we asked:
Why not create a divider / display shelf that maintains openness without sacrificing definition?
And full-height cabinetry that provides concealed storage?
Ooh, and let’s tuck away a homework nook / mini corner office that feels connected while offering a little space of its own.
We didn’t have to do any of that. But we’re always looking for opportunities to make your life a little easier and better. To us, structure, architecture, interiors, and custom cabinetry are all part of one design conversation.

It sets the mood for the entire home.
It’s the first page of a book. The opening scene of a movie. The first impression that shapes the way you move and feel.
Before, a massive closet and awkwardly placed walls, ductwork and structure blocked the light, views, and connection between rooms. You opened the door and didn’t quite know where to go. The room off the entry felt like leftover space.
Now, all of it smiles and says, “Welcome home.”
Fun fact: during the design process, Brittany dyed her hair pink. That was all the inspiration we needed to decide that the powder room ceiling absolutely had to be pink, too. 💗👩🏻🎤✌🏼
