Birdwood House

Haddonfield, NJ

This living room was designed to feel as good as it looks. From the moment you walk in, it draws you in and instantly sets a warm, inviting tone.

Layered materials, soft natural light, and thoughtful architectural details create a sense of depth and ease. Velvet seating, subtle stripes, and softly reflective wallpaper are balanced by the richness of the wood ceiling, exposed beams, and a wine-toned bar with a distressed mirror. At the center, a piano sits in perfect natural light, acting as both a focal point and part of the room’s overall mood.

Every detail feels intentional, but what really makes the space work is how everything comes together. The result is not just beautiful - it feels calming, elevated, and meant to be lived in.

Upstairs, that same sense of comfort carries into the bedroom. Wine tones show up again alongside richly textured bedding, creating a space that feels soft, grounded, and quietly luxurious. A custom-built cabinet is integrated into the sloped ceiling, turning an awkward angle into useful storage and making the room feel seamless, functional, and restful.
