Homestead House
Haddonfield, NJ
This space was designed for a joyful family of three, inspired by the warmth of their personalities and their love for good food and large family gatherings.
A kitchen designed around how our clients really host and live. Room to prep and cook, room to mingle, room to store cooking and party supplies, room to mix drinks, room to fit plenty of comfy counter stools, and room to orbit the island when the house fills with friends and family.
We also reworked the deck, windows and doors so family and friends can glide freely between inside and out.
With all of these pieces of the puzzle fitted just right, we effectively multiplied the usable kitchen-gathering space by 300% for the big parties they love to host.
And we personalized the palette just for them: creamy warm whites at the perimeter, playful pops of green, and just enough accent tile at the stove and windows to spark joy and cohere the wide open space. A kitchen that feels as warm, vibrant, and welcoming as the family who call it home.
